Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival at Leh - Arrive Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport at 3500m, one of highest airports, scenic flight with mountain views), hotel transfer, COMPLETE REST for acclimatization (Leh at 3500m altitude, risk of Acute Mountain Sickness - AMS if exerted on first day, symptoms: headache, nausea, breathlessness, avoid alcohol and smoking, drink lots of water, light meals, no bath on first day), keep day completely free, walk slowly if needed, oxygen cylinders available at hotels if required, doctor consultation free at SNM Hospital, evening short walk on Leh Mall Road only if feeling okay, overnight Leh|

Day 2:
