Day 1:
Jodhpur Arrival - Arrive Jodhpur, check-in heritage hotel, afternoon visit majestic Mehrangarh Fort (one of India largest forts, 125m high hill, museum with palanquins, miniatures, weapons, armor, turbans; audio guide narrated by fort owner; panoramic blue city views from ramparts), Jaswant Thada (white marble cenotaph, intricate lattice work, peaceful gardens), evening explore Sardar Market near Clock Tower (spices, textiles, handicrafts, antiques), try local mirchi vada and makhaniya lassi, overnight|
Day 2:
Jodhpur to Jaisalmer - Morning optional Umaid Bhawan Palace exterior photos (royal family still resides, part is luxury hotel and museum), drive to Jaisalmer (285km, 5-6 hrs through desert landscape), check-in hotel, evening walk in Jaisalmer Fort (golden fort/Sonar Quila, built 1156, UNESCO site, only living fort in world with 3000 residents, shops, hotels, temples within walls, honey-colored sandstone glows golden at sunset), explore narrow lanes, sunset from ramparts, overnight|

Desert Safari - Morning leisure, afternoon drive to Sam Sand Dunes (40km west, 1 hour, vast Thar Desert sand dunes stretching to Pakistan border), camel safari into desert (45 mins to 1 hour, traditional rajasthani saddles, experience camel ride, climb dunes), watch spectacular sunset painting dunes orange-red, arrive desert camp, welcome drink, tent allotment, evening cultural program (Rajasthani folk music with harmonium and dholak, Kalbelia snake charmer dance, fire dance, puppet show), traditional Rajasthani dinner (dal baati churma, ker sangri, gatte ki sabzi), stargazing (Milky Way clearly visible), overnight in Swiss tents|
